DJB Appoint Specialist Commercial Property and Planning Lawyer

DJB have strengthened their Planning and Commercial Property Law teams with the appointment of Senior Associate Solicitor, Zaheer Bashir. He joins the firm having previously been Head of Commercial Property at Mary Monson Solicitors and a Property and Planning Solicitor at South Lakeland District Council.

Zaheer has expertise in dealing with a wide range of commercial property matters having acted for SME’s, Local Government, Charities, Housing Associations and Corporate Clients. He has acted on behalf of local authorities in managing their property portfolio including retail units, industrial estates, housing developments and leisure centres. He has also has experience in property litigation matters including title disputes, forfeiture proceedings and Landlord and Tenant act 1954 disputes. Zaheer also deals with Section 106 and other planning agreements/issues.
